facebook quickly becoming the “new” myspace…

Out with the old and in with the new…

Like it or not, Myspace is on its way out and Facebook is making a strong bid for the “new” online personal interfacing application of choice.

5 things I recommend you do in regards to Facebook…

1. Go to http://www.facebook.com and make an account because this is one of the coolest yet still somewhat misunderstood apps-there is much potential here.

2. Read the following news article and get ready to hold onto your seat. http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/djf500/200707251526DOWJONESDJONLINE000949_FORTUNE5.htm

3. Keep an eye on Facebook for future investment opportunities. There is potential money to be had here, but will you be man or woman enough to keep up on current news of this situation? Will you financially educate yourself so that you are in position to take advantage of this ‘whale of an opportunity’ should it come down your street?

4. Have fun on Facebook. Consider this new unexplored application like a new relationship of yours. It’s a little awkward at first, but once you get to know it and spend time with it, you will soon realize it’s the best thing next to sliced bread. You may even be asking yourself, ‘why didn’t I hear about this before?’

5. Reconnect with old friends. Facebook has a WAY better way to find old friends and acquaintances online. You may even find your first crush from 1st grade like I did-good old Richard Rodriguez.
